Each year approximately 300 guests from South Florida’s philanthropic society attend the Preservation Luncheon, also known as the hat luncheon, as attendees are encouraged to wear stylish hats. The luncheon raises funds to preserve and protect Vizcaya Museum and Gardens for the community.
The Preservation Luncheon begins with a late morning cocktail reception in the magnificent Vizcaya Gardens and continues with an elegant seated luncheon. For James Deering ticket holders, the Après Fete takes place in the Courtyard featuring entertainment, lite bites, and a prosecco and wine bar. This year we welcome you to join our fashionable fashion contest at the luncheon.
Vizcaya is proud to welcome back three-time Emmy Award-winning reporter Laurie Jennings, evening co-anchor for South Florida Local 10 News, as mistress of ceremonies for the 10th Annual Vizcaya Preservation Luncheon.
